The Utrecht Philosophy Lectures (formerly known as Zeno Lectures) are a series of lectures in philosophy hosted by the OFR research institute of Utrecht University‘s Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies. Lectures are given by internationally acclaimed philosophers on a wide range of central issues in the fields of practical and theoretical philosophy and the history of philosophy. Four to six lectures a year are held in Utrecht’s historic city center. Attendance is free of charge and open to the public. The lecture series is organized by Dr. Maarten van Houte.
On this site you will find the agenda of upcoming lectures, as well as an overview of past speakers and lectures (many of which were co-hosted by Leiden University’s department of philosophy).
